WTF am I doing here?

Now I've ended up in the Mojave Desert hiding from bad guys.  I'm one of their hundred thousand or so crime victims.  Being the snub nosed journalist I am, I didn't file a civil lawsuit against the Chicago Archdiocese in time and get cash so I could get on with my life, I had to stay in L.A. and start a blog .  I was a naïve ex flower child who thought I could report crimes of pedophile priests and the bishops who aided and abetted them, plus how they ran damage control over the survivors, and not get any retaliation.  

I was wrong.
