The US is aghast that the NFL kept a football player on the field when he beat his wife. Why is that surprising when the Catholic Church left priests in office after they raped children thousands of times? The moral standard has been set. Expect a lot more beatings rapes and other brutalities in a culture where a church run by corporate lawyers defines right and wrong.
